Many IOS tweak installed from Cydia allow the user to respring their device easily. You simply change the settings of that tweak and tap the respring button at the bottom. Your device resprings with all of the changes applied. It’s simple and it’s convenient.
But what about when you don’t want to change any settings of any tweaks. What if you’re having some trouble and simply want to respring your device without having to reboot the whole thing to fix your problem. In circumstances such as those, there is a simple but very helpful tweak called PullToRespring.
What it does
This tweak adds the simplest, most non-invasive feature to your device. A “pull” function on your settings app. You open the settings app and simply swipe downwards and your device resprings. You can also scroll down to the tweaks section of the settings app and enable/disable the tweak with a single tap.
How to get it
That’s about as much as there is to it for this tweak. It’s very simple and very minimally designed, but very helpful and convenient. Here’s how to get it:
- Simply open the Cydia app and search for PullToRespring
- The source that has this tweak gets installed with Cydia so you should find the tweak under the BigBoss repo
- Simply install the tweak and restart springboard
You should now have the tweak installed and be able to enable it in the tweaks section of the settings app. And that is all there is to it. Very simple to install and use and definitely a must get tweak.
